Staff from across the department were awarded for their outstanding performance at a ceremony at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday, 8 December 2015. Awards and highly commended acknowledgements were given in seven categories.

Felicity was highly commended in the Diversity and Accessibility category. She was nominated for her key role in developing the Board’s outreach program over many years, and her collaborative work with government and non-government agencies to promote equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This work included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Board and the Office of Fair Trading in September 2015. This will enable the two agencies to more actively address discrimination against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the real estate industry.
