Annual Report 2013-14

Highlights for 2013-14 include:

  • answered 4,748 enquiries
  • received 1,188 complaints and finalised 1,104 complaints
  • provided training for around 4,884 people in 288 workplace training sessions and 17 seminars, plus 1,272 in community training
  • provided advice on 18 applications for exemption from the Anti-Discrimination Act
  • launched new website with improved structure, navigation and content
  • published new series of posters, some addressing social media
  • made second visit to Bourke to continue work fostering better relations in the community
  • ran successful art competition for school students
  • continued to work with other agencies to provide consumer information sessions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people​
