Breast feeding poster

Text of Poster

Of Course You Can!

In NSW, it is against the law to harass or discriminate against a woman because she is breastfeeding.

Mothers who wish to breastfeed or express milk are allowed to feed their babies:

  • at work
  • in government schools, TAFEs and universities
  • when they are accessing goods and services including shops, entertainment venues, and sporting facilities.

If you are being discriminated against because you want to breastfeed, express milk or make arrangements to breastfeed or express milk, contact the Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW for confidential advice.
