President of ADB and Board members

The Honourable Dr Annabelle Bennett AC SC, a retired judge of the Federal Court of Australia, has been appointed as the new part-time President of the Anti-Discrimination Board.

Dr Bennett brings a wealth of experience to the role, serving on the judiciary for 13 years until 2016, as well as working as a Senior Counsel specialising in administrative law, intellectual property and professional misconduct. She is also Chancellor of Bond University and was recently appointed as a part-time Commissioner of the NSW Law Reform Commission. 

Board Members

Three new members on the Anti-Discrimination Board:

Melissa is a qualified social worker who has been working with multicultural or migrant communities since 2000.

  • Dr Patricia Azarias, former Deputy Chair of the NSW Community Relations Commission
Patricia is a Senior Public Finance Adviser to the United Nations in Papua New Guinea. 

  • Trevor Robertson, Managing Director of Capital Knowledge
Trevor is a former First Assistant Secretary of the Federal Attorney General's Department.
