Conflict is a healthy aspect of diversity. By learning to use conflict to build understanding, cooperation, collaboration and creativity you can prevent bullying and harassment.

This training course​ is for managers and supervisors, human resources staff and WH&S professionals. Activities and exercises develop problem-solving skills and apply the latest research and techniques to build a workplace culture that resists bullying and harassment.

Content

  • the nature of bullying and harassment
  • causes and indicators of workplace conflict and the importance of early intervention
  • laws dealing with bullying and harassment
  • effective communication skills
  • collaboration to reduce resistance and build respect
  • the qualities of well- functioning teams and helpful and unhelpful behaviours
  • practical strategies for maintaining a healthy team culture.

Wollongong: 22 February, 18 October

Time: 9am – 1pm (half day)
Cost: $385 (includes GST)
Includes: morning tea, course materials
